The Christian Women's Job Corp (CWJC) of McComb has been developing since July 2007. Look at what we have to offer:
*Three certified site coordinators
*Prayer team
*Ten mentors
*Bible study leader
As with all non-profit organizations, we need money to operate. Please consider helping us buy curricula, Bible
studies, software, and printer ink. Donations from individuals, businesses, churches, Sunday school classes, or other
groups are greatly appreciated.
Our curriculum, including money management and health issues, is taught
by the Mississippi State University Extension Service. They provide a computer teacher for one week for an intensive
computer class. We plan to coordinate a group of volunteer teachers for the second semester to teach etiquette, dressing
for business, and more computer skills. Most CWJCs use "Jobs for Life" as the curriculum; however, at present
we are unable to afford this $550 program.
While we have some computers (and we appreciate those who have donated
computers), we really need some that are not very old. We really would like to obtain Windows XP.
We can also
use light lunch and snack provisions, and small gifts as rewards to the participants for special accomplishments. Please
contact SWMSCOM for more information. Thank you!
